Zambian Gems has been actively engaged in the field of education across several countries. In Africa, we support education at all levels, from primary and secondary schools to colleges and universities. In Afghanistan, our efforts focus on providing secondary education for girls and their mothers, who might otherwise remain illiterate.
These initiatives reflect our commitment to empowering communities through access to quality education across different regions.
For over a decade, Zambian Gems has been walking alongside orphans and vulnerable youth in Zambia, giving them hope and opportunity.
What began with the basics—shelter, food, clothing, and sports equipment—has grown into a mission of education and empowerment. Children who once faced a bleak start in life are now pursuing their dreams, with many completing studies in fields such as medicine, nursing, computer science, teaching, agriculture, and more.
Our impact extends beyond Zambia. With support, some youth have had the chance to study in other countries, broadening their horizons and preparing to become leaders in their communities and beyond.
Together, we are transforming young lives—building confident, educated, and empowered individuals who can shape a brighter future.
Two powerful programs are being offered as a gift—gifts that can shape lives and futures. The first, Care Skill, delivers the essentials of basic health care. It gives people the power to protect themselves and care for others. The second, the Young Entrepreneur Scheme, arms young people with financial and entrepreneurial skills. As jobs grow scarce, these tools open doors to independence and innovation. Together, these aren’t just programs—they’re lifelines. They build strength, spark opportunity, and secure the health and wealth of generations to come.
A gift of dignity and health for families worldwide. Free, multilingual, online/offline.
The Young Entrepreneur Scheme (YES) is an empowerment programme for young people to acquire skills in running a business and entrepreneurship.
