ZGF is a non-profit collective, engaged in tackling challenges in the fields of education & healthcare.
Our Work
We have partnered with an extraordinary global network of individuals, organisations and communities in 20+ countries, dedicated to developing scalable learning solutions to build a brighter future.
Blessed Vale School, Zambia
Development of the building works, infrastructure and curriculum tailored to the needs of the schools growing number of students.
Advancements have included the implementation of teacher training programmes and funding of essential educational equipment and supplies. At present, Blessed Vale School has over 600 students enrolled and works in partnership with our collaborators at Full Circle Learning, a holistic training initiative.
Care Skill Program, Global
An online learning platform with practical guides to providing primary healthcare services at home, anywhere, at anytime.
Dr. Farzin Rahmani designed this online course for those aspiring to become skilled nurses, in-home caregivers or any student who wants to take an exploratory first step toward a career as a general practitioner. The modules also offer advanced tools for student volunteers ready to strengthen their usefulness as community health advocates. The course will be led by a trained nurse.
Here, you will learn the key approaches and methods to primary care that can be provided anywhere, and anytime.
Healthcare providers work continually to save lives and to reduce human suffering during a public health crisis. They can also promote good health on a regular basis in communities worldwide.
Cluster Education, Afghanistan
Restricted schooling led to the creation of a programme that gives girls access to education in the safety of their homes.
This method of education is widely welcomed by parents and students throughout Afghanistan and is expanding fast. ZGF plays a leading role in the spread of Cluster Education, it is designed to be the most productive in-person system of education with the capacity to reach every single house throughout the country.
Desanto Centre for the Deaf, Zambia
A non-profit centre that provides a safe environment where deaf students can learn and grow.
We are honoured to have the opportunity to collaborate the Desanto Centre for the Deaf in Livingstone, Zambia. Their team offer a well-rounded holistic approach, students’ needs are catered to, regardless of educational background. Students are treated with dignity and respect, as they learn to communicate in ways many were not able to on their own. Healthy meals, life skills coaching, organized sports, skill building and cooking are all components of the program in addition to traditional schooling.
Because the development of a child’s brain and language skills starts very early, deaf children can start learning sign language at the age of three months. Early education is a strong component of educating deaf children, which is why parents are encouraged to enrol their children at a young age in schooling.
St Cecilia Foundation, Zambia
An orphanage that is home to over 45 children, planting a seed of change, hope and hard-work.
In 2012, Cecilia took in 4 children, abandoned by their parents, ranging in age from 3 to 7 years old. Due to poverty, among other reasons, many more children have been left to Cecilia since then. The orphanage now has 45 children, including two babies under 2 years old.
The children are cared for by Cecilia and her sisters, as well as some of the older orphans.
The journey is one that is working towards self-sustenance and the belief that just because our lives can take a turn, there is an opportunity to be creative, hard-working, and strive to build a beautiful life for oneself and those around us.
Young Entrepreneur Scheme, Global
A digital curriculum for children, youth and young adults to acquire business skills.
The scheme nurtures future drivers of economic growth by building the capacity of individuals and enabling their aspirations to generate a sustainable income and future.
